A cross has been carved into the base, connecting the image of new growth with the Christian hope of resurrection and peace.
This piece was created from a wooden stock, screws, pins, springs, sawdust, and other broken firearm parts from firearms processed at the May 2, 2026 Safe and Anonymous Disposal Event held at Stilwell United Methodist Church.
